OME Coil/Bilstein 5100 Kit - (HS05BK-1)
This kit is the perfect solution for those who don't want to spend a lot of money yet want a kit that can handle the trails. The kit comes complete with everything needed to both lift the truck and improve the suspension for the typical weekend warrior. The Bilstiens work wonders controlling the changing terrain while sustaining the quality of on road ride, the OME coils better support the trucks front end weight over the factory coils while still offering plenty of flex. Also included in the kit is a 1/4" top plate spacer that can be used to help eliminate the drivers side lean.
Rear options are available in order to lift the rear. Options include our HS 3-leaf add-a-leaf or the Deaver single leaf AAL. Either of these AALs will lift the rear approx. 1.5"-2" without drastically altering the quality of ride. Our 3 Leaf AAL includes new ubolts whereas the Deaver AAL will work with the existing factory ubolts.

Coil selection should be made based on vehicle trim. In addition we have also provided an option to include upper control arms to allow for more alignment adjustment for lifts over 2.5". Kit will yield anywhere from 0"- 3.0" of lift (results vary depending on coil selection and model Tacoma). Since there are several coil options available to achieve the desired lift height, adjustments to the Bilsteins are not needed nor recommended. If having us do the assembly, we assemble the Bilsteins at the 0 setting (default setting) .
REAR LIFT
The rear of the Tacoma varies in weight from one side to the other, this is due to the gas tank location which is located on the Driver’s Side. As a result it is not uncommon for a lean to be present both before and after a lift. In most cases this lean is more pronounced following a lift whereas pre-lift a lean may not have been visible. We at HeadStrong Off-Road are not responsible for this lean.
DISCLAIMER
These kits are not guaranteed to level your truck, they can be used to do so with success; however, the final outcome is ultimately the buyers responsibility. Though we can provide guidance on the various selections available, we cannot predict the final height or whether or not the truck will sit level. The year, model, vehicle options, current condition of your factory suspension, and product tolerances can all influence the end results. The buyer should have a complete understanding of this before he or she places an order. The buyer should also consider these factors when making their selections.
