Performance Bilstein 6112/5160 Kit - HS05BK-2
For those wanting a step up in performance over our Coil/Bilstein kit (HS05BK-1) look no further. Our newest bundled kit has what you need when tackling the more aggressive trails. Up front includes Bilsteins latest 6112 series 2.65" diameter performance strut and coil combination which can be adjusted anywhere from 0 - 2.5" of lift using the lower adjustment rings (reference table provided below). In the back you'll get Bilsteins newly designed 5160 series remote reservoir shocks that compliment the 6112's perfectly. These rear shocks feature an additional 1/2" of travel over the original 5160s, come with specific valving for both the right and left side and come with billet resi clamps that mount to the chassis.
KIT INCLUDES: Bilstein 6112 strut and coil combination and Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir rear shocks.
Rear options are available in order to lift the rear. Options include our HS 3-leaf add-a-leaf or the Deaver single leaf AAL. Either of these AALs will lift the rear approx. 1.5"-2" without drastically altering the quality of ride. Our 3 Leaf AAL includes new ubolts whereas the Deaver AAL will work with the existing factory ubolts (reference below).
Coil Selection: Bilstein includes a 14" 600lb coil with their 6112's. They also offer a 14" 650lb coil for an additional fee. The 650lb coil will help support a moderate amount of weight or will provide around 1/2" more lift with the various notch settings over what the 600lb coil provides in the guide below.
ATTN: THIS PRODUCT SHIPS FOR FREE TO THE LOWER 48 STATES!
The rear of the Tacoma varies in weight from one side to the other, this is due to the gas tank location which is located on the Driver’s Side. As a result it is not uncommon for a lean to present both before and after a lift. In most cases this lean is more pronounced following a lift whereas pre-lift a lean may not have been visible. We at HeadStrong Off-Road are not responsible for this lean.
