These leaf packs are specifically designed to ensure the load is distributed over the entire surface area. This reduces the high stresses that typically develop at leaf ends. These packs provide a favorable on road ride while increasing the load carrying capability over stock leaf packs. The leaf clamps used on these packs feature Teflon liners which are adhered to the inner side walls to prevent metal and metal contact. In addition to this, each of the leafs are separated with Teflon pads to help eliminate squeaks. These packs are fully scragged & load tested ensuring the spring takes a permanent "set" which reduces the risk of sagging. This pack is available in both Medium Duty and Heavy Duty, see below for more info
NOTE: This is just the leaf packs by themselves. Longer u-bolts and full bushing kit are needed and are sold separately. If you need these items please check out our Dakar Package. Also these packs were spec'd out to be used with the OME rear shocks (60091); however, should you choose to pair them with another shock please ensure the extended/collapsed length is appropriate.
**ATTENTION** Due to the size and weight of these leafs springs they do not come boxed or wrapped from the manufacturer and they ship out to the consumer in the same fashion. It is not uncommon to receive these with scratches on them as well as scratches will occur while they are in use under the vehicle. The packs can be taken apart and painted if the consumer so chooses. Be sure to keep track of the proper orientation of the leafs should you disassemble them. Also it is common for leaf packs to squeak. Though there are anti-squeak pads in place, noise can still occur. It is the nature of metal whenever it comes in contact with metal. There are some ways to help reduce the amount of noise however it is not a guarantee. Please feel free to contact us directly for popular threads discussing this matter.

REAR LIFT INFORMATION
The rear of the Tacoma varies in weight from one side to the other, this is due to the gas tank location which is located on the Driver’s Side. As a result it is not uncommon for a lean to present both before and after a lift. In most cases this lean is more pronounced following a lift whereas pre-lift a lean may not have been visible. We at HeadStrong Off-Road are not responsible for this lean.
